Leeds and Sheffield anchor the region, with Bradford and Hull behind them. Leeds's restaurants sit in the city centre and the student belt of Hyde Park and Headingley, and its demand per restaurant is high for a city of its size. Sheffield's cluster runs from the centre out through Ecclesall Road and the student areas. Bradford has a large South Asian food economy in which Turkish grills are a small minority, and hygiene scores across West Yorkshire are mixed. York and Harrogate have tourist demand and very few restaurants. The regional gap is in the affluent suburbs and commuter towns north of Leeds, where searches are steady and supply is close to zero.
