Our editorial standards

Where does the data come from?

Our demand score and guides are compiled from Food Standards Agency (FSA) hygiene data, Office for National Statistics (ONS) Census 2021 population data, Google Places API data and SE Ranking search-volume data. Figures are refreshed periodically, and every guide shows its publish and update date.

How content is written

Every guide is researched and written by hand, in-session, by a Claude Code editor — content is never generated by a script calling an AI API programmatically. Before publication, each piece is checked for number consistency, source accuracy and hype-free language.

Corrections policy
